"......I now have confidence and a belief in my abilities that I never had before.

Coaching didn't give me any answers, I already had the answers inside. I just couldn't access them... there was some sort of block, stopping me.

I now realise that the only thing stopping me from getting on in life, was me!"

F.B. Camden

Who is the Pink Coach?

The Pink Coach is Angie South, a qualified personal performance coach, integrative counsellor, and LGBT support professional.

She transfers her therapeutic skills, and knowledge gained from working in the LGBT sector, to her coaching work. As such she is able to connect with you on a more perceptive, intuitive, and empathic level than would likely be found in generic or corporate coaching. This makes her ideally placed to identify and attend to any emotional blocks, and to be able to recognise early on when you might benefit from counselling rather than coaching, saving her time, and you money!

Her style of coaching is designed to respect, nurture and promote your inner wisdom and emotional functioning. She believes she can get the best from you by being gently and respectfully challenging, always moving you forwards and ensuring that your goals fit with who you are and where you want to be.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

She has studied to degree level as a counsellor, and taken further academic study in domestic violence, psychoanalytic psychology, therapeutic group facilitation, HIV & AIDS, trans awareness, and coaching.

She is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and is bound by their code of ethics in practice, which is also applicable to her coaching work (please visit www.bacp.co.uk for more information).

She is a life member of The Coaching Academy, London, with whom she trained to diploma level (www.the-coaching-academy.co.uk).

For part of her week she is a personal performance coach for Working PACE Employment Project in Islington, helping LGBT people back in to work with a mixture of career coaching and workshops. (PACE is a leading mental health support agency providing services to the national LGBT population.) Part of her work at PACE involves going in to local schools to train staff in how to tackle homophobic bullying.

She also writes on parenting, relationships and personal effectiveness and contributes regularly to urban lesbian and bisexual women’s magazine g3.

She believes that you know, intuitively, where you want to be. Her task is to help you get there.
